Telling the times isn't the only thing that watches and alarm clocks do these days. There’s always an extra bit of excitement hidden in the functionalities of timetellers and here we are with something for Star Wars fans. The alarm clock from I-Twin also features a couple of Ultra Loud speakers that can playback music at a rather loud volume (so… that’s good, isn't it?). Now you may wonder where the music will come from. You can connect any MP3 player to the clock. It also accepts iPod connectivity. The moment your music starts playing, the LCD Time display lights up. Other features include alarm snooze, digital time display and a heavy retro touch.

Some gizmos come about to more jeers rather than cheers. Such is the case with the Video iPod Glasses. Here’s one of those. What’s the main reason? Well, it is one of those accessories that cost just as much as the device that it goes with. The Video iPod Glasses, as the name suggests, is to be worn on your eyes (duh!) so that the video playing on your iPod appears to be playing on a huge screen. I hope these don’t ruin your eyes. But speaking technologically, these seem well made, especially keeping in mind certain factors like weight and size of the goggles.
Oh Wow! I've been waiting for this news. The demo version of the third rendition of the very coveted Guitar Hero III is round about the corner. It is expected to show up with Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground. I wanted to get myself a little close with my idols and here’s my chance. Activision, the brains behind the wonder shall be shelling out five song demos along with their newest offering. These include Lay Down by Priestess, Even Flow by Pearl Jam, The Metal by Tenacious D, Hit Me with your Best Shot by Pat Benatar and Rock You like a Hurricane by Scorpions. Now if it’s these three songs that you have on your set-list a day before the gig, then it’s all done. You don’t even need the full version.

The Metaphys Lunacalante CD Player has a unique design for something of its caliber. It is basically a player that actually has the CD exposed during read. I don’t know how healthy this is for your CDs and I also wonder how many of you would risk an expensive disk in a drive like this. But then there’s a lot of research put into the making of the player. It is likely from the design that the disc is inserted from the top and is sucked in, leaving a small portion of it exposed. Hers Design, a Japanese designing unit of the Xbox 360 fame.
With all the ardent efforts of manufacturers to improve the quality of entertainment we have, the concept of DAPs is pretty much in force and coming fast at us. So we have the YP-P2 from Samsung that hasn’t got a lot of specs for us to know about as yet, but we can make a few guesses till it goes public. It is capable of functioning as a MSC device and has support for Bluetooth. It is also blessed with video playback. One thing that I really am looking forward to is the touch screen display of the P2. I really can’t figure out what makes me remember the iPhone when I see this one. there’s also something about FM radio and a picture library.
The Sirius Stiletto 2 picks up from where its predecessor left off. It is smaller than the original Sirius but comes with a little more weight as far as the specs are concerned as well as the oomph factor. First of all, it incorporates a helpful microSD card slot and Wi-Fi connectivity. Sirius has also worked on the library management of the Stiletto 2. Thus, the data is more organized and easier to mine. An added feature has been added into the player in the form of a “love” button. Using this you can tag your favorite tracks. And for all those organized detectives, there’s a feature by which you can schedule and capture up to 100 hours of music.
