Adjustable Standing Mirror: So That You Don't Need To Adjust

April 3, 2008 - 4:27 AM : Related Entries - Furnishing

standing_mirror_1.jpg This cool mirror can save you a lot of energy as you get ready to face a new day. The problem of affixing smaller mirrors is that those who are short want it lower and those who are tall would like it to be placed somewhere higher. So here's a great way to make everyone happy. The mirror stands on an adjustable stand whose height can be changed accordingly. With a diameter of 10 inches, it can cover all the vital points of your being. Another excellent feature of the mirror is that it has a 3x magnification facility. You can check yourself out in the mirror without actually having to stand before it.

rainbow_library_1.jpg With all the lighted door frames and obscene number of lamps that are available for purchase off the net, it is hard to find dark corners in people's homes. However, one part of the house that seems left in the dark is that which provides the light of knowledge. To be speaking less philosophically: the library. With this cool Rainbow Library you can make sure that your amazing collection of books are kept in a well organized manner and with enough of light being shed on them so that they do not pass off as wasted furniture. Window Without A Hole In The Wall

Artificial window.jpg I remember those episodes of Roadrunner. The poor Coyote would always end up running and crashing into a painting that looked like a road or a highway. We have something here that's built on the same lines. It is an artificial window that uses electricity to create a simulation of a video using electroluminescent sheets. The blinds are all set to blind you from reality. No more chirping birds or distant mountains for you anymore. However, for those who live in closed rooms, this may seem nothing short of redemption.

These cool and classy pieces of wall decor somehow transform the era we are living in and takes us back to the good old days when tea parties weren't a dumb thing to attend. These 11" x 17" metal plates are something of the similar genre. They come with the words "Time Flies Having Rum" written across them and a pretty drunk skull having a shot.

growing%20shelf.jpg
If you get a bit bored looking at your same boring shelves staring down at you from the wall then it’s time for you to upgrade my friend. This isn’t the first time that we gizmodude has come across some ‘assembly furniture’. But still it’s from a different league altogether this time. Shelves after shelves can be added to the existing structure of the shelves and you can come out with some cool innovative ideas of your own too. The various available dimensions of the blocks are 900 x 230 x 270mm, 900 x 160 x 270mm, 500 x 230 x 270mm and 500 x 160 x 270mm.

jamesn%20doorman.jpgIf you look up to someone for some inspiration in mannerisms then it can surely be James. Also called as the Doorman, James is a guy who will keep your elbows from getting bruised by doors that swivel out of control. In simpler words, he's a door stopper made of rubber. Just like any other door stopper he is perched with one of his feet wedged under a door. He politely sticks his foot under your door to keep it from closing in on you.

Illuzine%20Invisible%20Magazine%20Rack.jpg
I liked this one here. It’s a magazine rack that has its own bit of magic in it. Basically it just holds the magazines that hang on it. Some part of the magazine is visible over the rack while the rest seems to be suspended under it. It looks pretty cool and yet elegant. Each overlapping magazine hides the portion of the visible rack. It has a capacity to hold a maximum of twelve magazines. It is made purely of stainless steel and is powder-coated metal in white color. It comes with dimensions of 36 x 15 x 8 cm so that you can have it attached to most parts of your study.

Earth and Moon Rugs: Stamping Out the Respect

Tierra%20Luna%20rug.jpg
Well, this is supposed to be our home. We call it planet earth. Here’s a rug that deplores all the magnificent glory that we have sung and hailed about for centuries. If you are a wall hanger lover then this would make perfect sense to be suspended on one of your walls. However, if you have a sinister plan of taking over the world then you may as well have it placed beneath your feet. Mind you, whatever you do make sure that you have a big enough wall or floor since the diameter of the earth shaped rug is 98.5”. And behold there’s also a moon shaped rug. This one has a diameter of 47.25”.

Underwear Rug: Meant To Be Dirty

August 24, 2007 - 3:35 PM : Related Entries - Freak/Futuristic/Fun | Furnishing

underwear%20rug.jpg
Here’s something I would die laughing at a few years back. That’s if I didn’t know I would grow up to be reviewing it. It’s a fluffy white underwear, the kind that kids wear in skits when in a rabbits role. However, I feel that these would be fancied by a few sadistic women who would love an excuse to step on the geometric center of this mat. Somehow, a guy would wince while doing the same. Or maybe the first reaction of an innocent mind would be, “Dude, you got giants living here?” And I expect that by now you must have guessed that it's a bathroom rug. Dare not flash it outside the door of your house.
