August 23, 2008 - 6:15 AM : Related Entries - Computers & Accesories

swiss_army_16gb.jpg Swiss Army knives haven’t been the best treated appliances in anyone’s pockets till date. They have been put through torturous cycles as they unscrew, drill, dig and in sometimes kill for you. This particular Swiss Army knife has a bit more added to it to make sure that you treat it as fragile and precious. It’s called the SwissFlash Flight and is blessed with stunning features like 16 GB of storage space for your data and a pocket flash light. The light is a bright white one and can get you out of some rather sticky situations. What really strikes a chord with the soldiers of today is that the ‘knife’ has USB connectivity. This would seem insane to those army men who did use the knives in combat some years ago.

“Ultraman” flash drives is cute

July 4, 2008 - 9:59 AM : Related Entries - Computers & Accesories

ultraman-flash-drive.jpg Flash drives have always fascinated me with their shapes and added capabilities in recent times. The whole idea of having a flash drive that is built on a theme is fascinating. This time we have a cool flash drive that’s made to look like an Ultraman figure. If you are wondering who the h*** he is then let me take you back to the 1960s when kids would implore this early superhero. And the reason even your dad will have a hard time recollecting who the h*** he is is because this was a Japanese superhero. So these dudes had superheroes in metal outfits from those days. And look at us; imploring men in red, black and blue underwear!

USB Mat Secures Your System (Even If You Don't!)

March 7, 2008 - 2:05 AM : Related Entries - Computers & Accesories

ProxMatInstall.jpg I know it's natural to forget stuff. But then something equivalent to locking your machine after getting off cannot be compromised because of mere forgetfulness. Imagine all the data that is at stake at the hands of your mischief-hungry colleagues. The mat works well enough to make sure that you don't compromise any security to the fiends. Every time you pass your forgetful self over it, the mat triggers the "Windows + L" command. This, as you should be knowing by now, causes your system to log off. The mat is designed by ProxMat. I suddenly have this urge to own one of these. Never know what can happen if my colleagues discover the intricacies of my data storage. Damn!

Asus Ecobook Saves Nature By Using Some Of It

March 6, 2008 - 9:13 AM : Related Entries - Computers & Accesories | Freak/Futuristic/Fun

Asus_wooden_Ecobook_1.jpg Saving natural resources doesn't necessarily mean saving bamboo trees. It is mainly saving the environment by using your gizmos wisely and using minimal power. It is the same case with the new Ecobook by Asus. I have no idea how many bamboo shoots were felled for the making of a single Ecobook. But then who cares as long as you have something that has a luscious 15.4 inches of viewing area on a screen that's framed by a wooden frame. There's a little debate about what processor it uses. I'm merely excited at the thought of a future in which we will see Panda's gnawing at laptops rather than unprocessed and rough bamboo shoots.
