Who said that you can’t combine the terms, sleek and washer-cum-dryer? GE just did otherwise and that too with the brilliance of technology. In addition to the good looks, the washers provide interesting features like front load of clothes, stain treatment mechanisms that can be pre-programmed, some rather sophisticated controls and a cool new feature that’s called a pedestal. This is however an optional feature and it is hidden deep inside the player. The pedestal offers an insane storage capacity for six months worth of detergent and fabric softener. These are dispensed as and when required in the appropriate quantities.

The GE Profile Frontload Washers and Dryers are all about sophisticated household equipment so a price tag of $1200 (and above) isn't exactly surprising. Besides it also has a host of useful features in it.
