It's all shiny and sparkly all over and has two brilliant LEDs for eyes that provide with light in dark moments. You don't need to turn to a torch or a cigarette lighter anymore for help.

Watch Ring Concept: Saving Space

November 16, 2007 - 6:34 AM : Related Entries - Accessories | Freak/Futuristic/Fun | Time Machines

digitus watch ring charles windlin.jpg Here's a cool concept product by Charles Windlin. Called the Watch Ring, it is basically a ring with a display screen that runs along its body. With a brilliant digital display, the ring also has a lower layer of gold that comes with it. I liked the design since it can be used by both sexes with equal elegance and style. There will just be the issue of treating the ring well, since I feel that it won't necessarily be as tough as a normal ring that is subject to a lot of rough treatment.

Bacon Wallet: Strictly Not Inedible

November 16, 2007 - 6:12 AM : Related Entries - Accessories | Freak/Futuristic/Fun

Bacon Wallet.jpgThe Bacon Wallet appears rather delicious but isn't actually edible. It can stun your butcher the next time you go to purchase some fresh bacon. Imagine digging into meat and pulling out some wads of unstained cash. Yeah! It is going to stun them for sure. Style statements never tasted better. I wonder how vegetarians would take this new release from What On Earth. Just curious, but then what had the makers thought of when they decided to produce eggless bacon!

sunglass%20camera%20spycatcher.jpg
A small and compact appliance from the future often ends up on our shelves and then we marvel at the high price. Similarly we have the Spycatcher Glasses that remind me a lot of Tom Cruise’s eyewear in some MI flick. Owning this can provide you with close competition against James Bond. The glasses are stylishly sexy and have the camera concealed somewhere between the glasses. It facilitates with both audio and video recording of a pretty good quality. It can record either NTSC or PAL with 350 lines of horizontal resolution but at a low resolution of just about 510×492 for NTSC and 500×582 for PAL. You can blame the extremely compact 1/4″ Interline CCD. There’s also an electric shutter that goes from 1/50 - 1/100,000.

chair%20suitcase.jpg

Here’s a pretty smart and well thought-over concept for frequent travelers and weak legs. The Chair Suitcase is a suitcase that can convert itself into a very portable and easy to carry chair. So just in case you are subjected to long hours in a queue or end up waiting in a place with no decent seating available, then all you have to do is simply shuffle this little suitcase around and have a very comfortable chair so that your tired legs can take a break. This of course will happen not without drawing attention from envious co-travelers who are subjected to the same patience game from which you have comfortably escaped.

Sanyo Makes Rear View Viewing More Helpful

July 31, 2007 - 2:26 PM : Related Entries - Accessories | Cameras | Wheels

SANYOrearviewcam.jpgSanyo’s BC200 Rear View Backup Camera System gives motorists, especially those who maneuver trucks, pick-ups and other large vehicles, a great new feel and control of what’s happening behind. The camera is small and compact and mounts at the rear of your vehicle. It uses a wide angle lens so that in spite of the camera being place so low, you manage to get a fish eye view of things. However, Sanyo have missed out on certain aspects sorely, especially the idea of not providing displays with the systems (however promising compatibility with existing in-car displays) doesn’t really seem to be an idea that will pay off.

logitech-vx-nano.jpg
Logitech have stepped up the comforts of the VX Mouse by introducing a better, improved VX Nano. The VS did make a name for itself and this one seems to be following suit. It can be powered by up a couple of AAA batteries. Being wireless does make it a hot favorite among notebookers. And there isn’t a lot to worry about losing your RF adapter since the transmitting station is a mere 8mm once jacked into your USB port. Along with the standard left and right click controls and the scroll wheel, you also have forward and back shortcuts and a shortcut for search. It looks pretty cool too and goes well with any desktop or laptop machine.

G4 Slim Mouse: Fits In

July 25, 2007 - 4:17 PM : Related Entries - Accessories | Computers & Accesories

slim-mouse-5.jpg

Just like cellphones and LCD screens that keep getting slimmer with passing time, we have the G4 Slim Mouse. The makers, Power Positioning (2P) claim that this is the world’s thinnest mouse. 94mm x 53mm x 5mm seem to be pretty gorgeous stats indeed for a slim beauty like this one. It comes in blue, ivory, cherry and silver colors. The lift and write buttons are as flat as a laptop’s touchpad. Everything from the mouse to its connectivity setup seems to be neatly packed. The mouse itself comes in a neat packing box and the USB cable (using which, it runs) can be housed in the mouse itself. Once you draw the cable, the mouse has to be put into actual use by dividing it into two halves. Being a 800 dpi mouse you can expect it to be pretty obedient over most surfaces. The scrolling facility is pretty cool too.

UMEMO001200_03_L.jpg
Want to look cool? How about a 2 GB USB memory stick that comes with a wooden exterior? The device doesn’t require any external power sources, being self powered and has plug and play functionality. The wooden USB memory strap works well with Windows - 98, - ME, - 2000, -XP and Mac OS 9.0. The wooden touch and texture is real enough for one to mistake it for a twig. It provides support for USB 2.0. Well that isn’t just about it. You also get a pretty cool strap to go with it.
