Massaging Backpack: Bearable Burdens

April 3, 2008 - 6:03 AM : Related Entries - Accessories

massager.jpg All the malice and blame that backpacks have been subjected because of broken bags has given them a bad name over the years. So here's some saving grace so that we can reconsider them over suitcases and trolleys. These backpacks massage your back while you have them on. It's something like a mix of good and bad things happening to your strained back. The designs seen here are over colorful and extremely gaudy. If you ask me I would settle for the black one (ignoring the turtle shell that's placed over it).

For anyone who has patronized the NYC Subway on his way to work, these cufflinks can mean more than just buttons. fold-up_helmet.jpg Japan are known to be the land of the rising sun and also the land that uses future technology even before the western world get to know about it. These helmets are created to protect the citizens of Japan from their eternal nemesis: earthquakes. However, I don't think that it will surprise me to see bikers and hikers wear these on their ever endangered craniums. The helmet is flat and at the same time really very tough. It overcomes the most annoying limitation of most helmets. This one is easily collapsible (since it is flat) and doesn't really cause you problems as far as compactness is concerned.

Watch Ring Concept: Saving Space

November 16, 2007 - 6:34 AM : Related Entries - Accessories | Freak/Futuristic/Fun | Time Machines

digitus watch ring charles windlin.jpg Here's a cool concept product by Charles Windlin. Called the Watch Ring, it is basically a ring with a display screen that runs along its body. With a brilliant digital display, the ring also has a lower layer of gold that comes with it. I liked the design since it can be used by both sexes with equal elegance and style. There will just be the issue of treating the ring well, since I feel that it won't necessarily be as tough as a normal ring that is subject to a lot of rough treatment.

Bacon Wallet.jpgThe Bacon Wallet appears rather delicious but isn't actually edible. It can stun your butcher the next time you go to purchase some fresh bacon. Imagine digging into meat and pulling out some wads of unstained cash. Yeah! It is going to stun them for sure. Style statements never tasted better. I wonder how vegetarians would take this new release from What On Earth. Just curious, but then what had the makers thought of when they decided to produce eggless bacon!

sunglass%20camera%20spycatcher.jpg
A small and compact appliance from the future often ends up on our shelves and then we marvel at the high price. Similarly we have the Spycatcher Glasses that remind me a lot of Tom Cruise’s eyewear in some MI flick. Owning this can provide you with close competition against James Bond. The glasses are stylishly sexy and have the camera concealed somewhere between the glasses. It facilitates with both audio and video recording of a pretty good quality. It can record either NTSC or PAL with 350 lines of horizontal resolution but at a low resolution of just about 510×492 for NTSC and 500×582 for PAL. You can blame the extremely compact 1/4″ Interline CCD. There’s also an electric shutter that goes from 1/50 - 1/100,000.
